ABOUT

Two Easel's On the Side of a Classroom...

The longing to complete my schoolwork earlier than the rest of the children
filled my heart with anticipation. I wanted to have the first pick of the better easel
with the most paint and the best brushes.  The first tree I remember painting
was multi-colored, I painted it on the lesser easel.
My teacher asked me if she could enter it into a competition.
I guess that is the moment when I first thought of myself as an Artist.

My Inspirations...

Come from an inspiring sentence found in a book.  A facial expression.  A gesture.
The scent of rain.  First touch of toes on the cool waters surface of a lake.  The feel of
front yard sprinklers on my face.
Taste of freshly watered and ripe garden blackberries
just picked from the vine.
Always reaching for that place where I am not afraid to create.  This is
what art means to me.  Where my moods can excape and I don't really know where it's
going to take me.  We are all connected by creativity, have the abilit
 to create.
To create is to be alive...
